Geographical origin:	P. corethrurus seems originally to come from the Guayana shield, a region comprised between the Orinoco river (Western border) and the Northern part of the Amazonian bassin (Southern border).
Distribution status:	Peregrine
General comment:	This species was largely disseminated around the world, reaching today a circumtropical distribution.
